Established in June 1962, Rappahannock Garden Club of White Stone is a not for profit garden club organization which is a proud member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., South Atlantic Region and Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., Piedmont District.  Through the club’s goals, Rappahannock Garden Club focuses on promoting and encouraging the study of horticulture and floral design, the beautification of our community, and raising the awareness of its club members of the joys and rewards of gardening.

 

Rappahannock Garden Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month from September through June, beginning at noon.  Meetings are held at the Grace Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall, 303 South Main Street, Kilmarnock.  Please join us; make new friends, enjoy educational programs and workshops, and enjoy fellowship and food.

 

In Keeping with RGC’s goals and 501©3 status, the Club actively supports the following community projects:  Free Health Clinic Gardens, Blue Star Memorial Gardens, Youth Programs including Woodsy Owl, Smokey the Bear, The Frightened Frog, The Saved Seed, YMCA Festival of Trees Guardian Program, and School Scholarships.
